So I'm starting my full width project.
I have a ford 8.8 from a 70s ford f150
and now im trying to source a hp44 from a 70s ford

Ive found one online prebuilt - ish with a lot of money put in it.
but it was built for a bronco.. guessing the demensions arent going to be the same ( waiting on weather and sunlight to make some measurements on my car to compare. )

anyways in the mean time i thought id post some of this info on here and see what you guys think

so its a high pinion dana 44. id put a value on the axle alone at 150-200
he has g2 chromoly inner and outer shafts ( never installed ). valued at 700$
and a g2 full spool carrier ( never installed ) . valued at 300$
gears are g2 as well 4.88 ( never installed ). valued at 200$
blue torch fab truss kit ( welded on ). valued at 300$
ballistic fab coil retainers ( welded on ). valued at 40$
upper and lower control arm links ( welded on ). valued at 40$
1.5x.250 dom steering full heim. valued at ??? 200-300 ?? ( drag link probly too long for my car )
2x.250 dom links 4 link triangulated uppers with ballistic fab rod ends x8. valued at 640 for rod ends maybe 200 in dom??

so all together thats like 2500$
and hes asking 800$

but like i said its set up for a bronco.
so heres the measurements i got.

Upper link to Upper link 5 3/4" inside to inside on the front, 45* set back so wider in the rear
Lower link to Lower link ~35 1/2" center to center
Coil Perch to Coil perch ~41" center to center
Inside of rotor to Center of coil perch 9 1/4"
Inside of rotor to outside of lower link 9 7/8"
Inside of rotore to backside outside of upper link 23 1/2"
Axle width wms to wms 65.5"
Lower links are 35" collapsed and 38" extended
Upper links are 27" collapsed and 30" extended

does this sound appropriate for a jeep xj beside the fact that the coil perches will need to be moved?
will i need to move the lower links inward as well?
i think the upper links would be ok? but to be honest i need to do more research on triangulated suspensions systems..

my plan was to find the axle and do research on the triangulated system i wanted to build for it.. but when something like this comes along.. you gotta consider it.

any help or opinions are appreciated

You don't have a 8.8 out of a 70s f150

What kind of Bronco is it set up for because they never used a 4 link and wms to wms should be closer to 67".

Im pretty sure its a 31 spline full width ford 8.8 out of a ford f150.
thats what the guy who sold it to me said.
you seem like you know what it would be out of??
