good book for xj?
ive had my 1998 jeep cherokee xj 2wd for 2 years and i still haven't done anything to him yet everything is stock and I've beat it up pretty good in the dessert, i plan on building it up into a pre runner but i want to do it all myself i will be moving to Oregon and don't know if jeeps are popular out their or people that can help i lack the tools and knowledge, is there a book that tells you how and what tools you need to increase the performance of your jeep?

In Oregon I think you will find more of a 4x4 area instead of the Pre-Runner and dessert your used to. But the Jeep XJ platform is popular in most all areas and supported by a lot of vendors for parts.
