Am going to the junk yard again today, to get some timing gears for my xj. but what else should i look for that would be a good upgrade for beethoven.

P.s does any one have any super swampers on there xj, becuase i am gettin a pair this week and i want to know if there any good?

 

yes super swampers are good and look for rims, aftermarket lights, skidplates, maybe liftkits,

and idk there just super swampers, 30x12.5 on a 15'' rim.

 

also check interiors. my friend found a new bumperjack under the seat of an old f-150 that was pretty sweet plus theres always dead ricers with awesome sterio setups to take. Well i could go on and on listing parts to lookout for, but the glory of the hunt is not knowing what your walking out with.

 

Junk yard treasure, nothing like it... Keep your eyes open for a XJ with a D44 under it. Also, anytime i go, i stock up on fuses and relays. Dig around inside of em, you'd be suprised what youll find in spare tire compartments and under seats.

 

Yeahh i know i do the same with the fuses lol, and there are 4 xjs at my local junk yard, and only one has the D44 under it, am planning on gettin it next week, hopefuly its still there. and yeah people always find pretty awsome stuff, put they dont have the money so then they TRY to hide them under the seats and spare tire compartments, and then we come along and jack em, lmao

 

All XJs into the mid 90s had HPD30s up front, not a bad axle if you don't go crazy with tire size.
