well i have some 1.5 inch tube layin out there so thats what theyre gonna be made out of lol, hopefully i can get them done between work this week,
what do you guys with power windows and mirrors do when you pull the doors off? i want to be able to put them back on still and have everything work, im guessing just put some type of connector on to re connect the wires?

Plugs for the front are behind the triangular piece of trim on each side. I think 3 on driverside and 4 on passenger. Then the rears are behind the seatbelt trim thing, but they arent very long so on mine i just extended the wires leading to the plug (about 4-6 on each side) so that you can just open up the gromet between the door and jam and reach in there to get the plug. Also unplug all for door button thing so your lights will stay off since it will think that the doors are open.

chiming on this thread! hahah i have a 2 door and run doorless on the trail only and some nice days on the street. But with audio equipment i dont like running around town doorless.... But i have a cross over box for my door speakers so i have 4 speaker wires per door(manual windows/locks) so i used a trailer plug for my speaker wires and it works great!!!

I do love runnning around town with no doors tho! there is just nothing like it

the power windown/door wires connect to the jeep main harness via a quick connector. IT is located in the kick panel, once that is disconnected then you need to take the rubber boot off and it will slide out with the door
