glasspack or flows..

i know its prob old topic, but i just want some suggestions, i am looking at either an 8" glasspack or a flowmaster single chamber muffler. any thoughts on sound, performance?

i like the flow master over glass packs, flow master sounds sweet

Glasspack sounds horrible IMO go with the flow master

if you go FlowMaster, remember to slap on some whistle tips, WOO-WOOOOOOO!!!!

personally, i like glasspacks over Flows any day. for me, sound is second rate compared to performance. if you go with a single chamber FM, then remember that that is going to be much louder than a dual chamber.

The whistles go WOOOOOO!

I say glasspack as well, ESPECIALLY if you have your stock cat. With the stock cat, these engines aren't very loud. My bro-in-law was pretty upset after he spent $100 to have a FM welded on and then found he liked my straight pipe better.

Loss of back pressure means loss of power and performance aswell as mpgs, when i bought mine it had a quarter sized hole in the exhaust right before the cat, honestly it sounded nice but i was averaging 14 mpg fixed it and hey guess what 16 mpg go f*in figure.

My renix is a cat only, was that way when I got it.
Its a little loud but not obnoxious, I can tell when the Mrs pulls up the drive with it.
We got 14 acres so the drive is not your typical driveway, maybe 200 yards to the road.
