getting tires pretty soon 31s or 32s?
so i should be getting some money by the end of the week, so im gonna be getting some tires, and hopefully if i get enough maybe some rims too, i have a 3" rc lift, should i go with 31s? or 32s? If i dont get rims they would be going on stock jeep rims but i also have 1.25" spydertraxs on it so I dont think rubbing on the lca's would be an issue with a 10.5" wide tire. i already have the endcaps trimmd, and i know 31s would clear no problem. my question is do you think i could put some 32s on it? im thinking about running more off an all terrain type tire compaired to more of a mud terrian type tire, still dont know if im gonna do any fender trimming just yet (if i do it wouldnt be till mayish) id really like to run bushwacker flat flares, but there pretty pricey so again that wouldnt be an option for a while. the only option i would go with running flares is either cut outs or flat flares or stock flares, dont really dig the tj flare look.

I would go with the 32s but I would say you need wider rims for them because I think 32s come in wider than 10.5 but I could be wrong. stock jeep rims are 15 by 7 and I would say you need the 15 by 8 for 32s

I've always been a big fan of getting the biggest size that will fit and you/ someone can afford. Even though you would prob. be more than fine with a 32 on a factory size wheel, just be careful. There is always the exception. I've ran 32's on a 7" wide wheel on 6-8lbs of pressure but thats me.
Good luck with your decision!

Im looking to do the same with mine, if you end up going with the 32's post some pics. Im looking at either 31x12.5's or the 32x11.5's. But i have like 12" wide wheels.

I have a set of 31s and had to cut my front fender a little cause they were rubbing when I turned sharp. My Jeep has a 3" lift in it.

I have 31x10.5's on my jeep now with a 3.5" lift and i dont rub at all, but the backspacing on my wheels make them stick out a long ways.

Right now I have stock rims on with my winter tires. I'm putting my nicer ones on later, when the snow is gone.

But from personal experiance with the tires sticking out wide, EVERY puddle i hit or wet spot on the road throws water all up the side of my jeep, so not much for keeping it clean, but gives it a lot better look in my opinion.

I know what you mean. I was thinking of getting some mud flaps to prevent the puddle issue, but I don't think it will help out that much with the width of the tires. What kind of tires do you have on your Jeep
Actually the more your tires stick out the more they will rub (fenders). I have 4" bs on wheels and 1.5" spacers, 31x10.5's on rc 3" lift. Mine rub like crazy if I do any off-roading (no trimming yet).
