Hey guys !
I have a grand Cherokee 94, v8 5.2, and since I bought it I always had problems in putting gas in the truck. I tried various gas stations, different types of gas and do all the time the same thing.
So here's what's happen, no matter if the gas tank its full or empty, its almost impossible to put gas, cause the gas pump from the gas station, keeps all the time shutting off... its very bad cause every time that I tried to fill it up the truck, I stay like 10, 15 min, waiting. It looks like there's air in the system ( I guess) , but I tried to shake the truck and nothing, different type of positions with the gas pump and nothing all the time the same problem!

Does anybody help me please?

 

Your vent tube from the tank to the filler neck could be blocked. Crawl under there, disconnect the hose (if you can) and run a good stiff wire through it. I had this problem when I got my current XJ (not a GC) and this fixed my problem.
