I run 93 also. Runs better, better gas mileage. I do have a 62mm TB installed not sure if that would matter but that's what I put in. If 87 i$3.89 and 93 is $3.99+ ill pay the $0.20 extra for better fuel/mileage.

Plus my jeep loves to smoke mustangs from the jump at redlights while they spin like hell and cant hook, its pretty funny up to about 60mph

3.04 reg. unleaded here in DFW Tx.
3.69 for diesel thank gawd !

I'm afraid you've both been deceived. Higher octane fuels will not affect performance or economy on your 4.0L unless it's been decked and/or stroked and thus, has a higher compression ratio than stock. The bore of your throttle body doesn't affect compression. The quality of the fuel can affect both performance and economy but not the octane. Octane numbers have nothing to do with performance or quality, they indicate one thing and one thing only, a fuels resistance to self-ignition under pressure. Sorry.

I paid $3.58 on Wednesday.
