Oh damn, hope the guy is ok. I had a coolant geyser like that once lol, it was with the closed cooling system though.

We had a guy have that happen at our shop. Went to the hospital for burn treatment, but it was more of an explosion of boiling hot coolant than the geyser of steam.

I have never had that happen but i always paranoid that it will so i just stay away from a hot engine most of the time... That, and batteries scare the hell outta me LOL

I hate testing batteries with the hand held tester at work. Especially the ones you can feel getting hot

I used to drive a transfer truck and a buddy of mine was helping me change out a set of batteries one day... Long story short is... he had a tungsten ring on his finger and it arc'd between the wrench and the battery and lit that ring up bright red. Instinctively, he pulled the ring straight off his finger, along with all of the skin right down to the bone, hence my reluctance to be messing around with batteries. LOL
