Ok. Depending on what kind of wheeling you do, and how you wheel, most of my recoveries come from the rear. So I would go rear first.

for me it's more of what has more use... if you have rear tow point then get the front. If you have nothing to hook onto in the rear than get the rear. That is how I look at things though.

Well if u have nothing front or rear then its just a matter of wich side u think is more important, a rear bumper will be one of tge last things I get. The front end needs more protection then the rear, and iv only hit my rear once and the hitch protected the bumper anyways.recovery points should be the first thing anyone gets for there rig. If u go with a front bumper then u should get a hitch/dshackle for the rear, and if u get a rear bumpers then u should get hooks for the front.

I would go for the front, and get a rack later on to put the tire on. I got the jrc one, and I love it.

I'm planning to soon get a nates front, probably the one where the winch is in the bumper but not the angled sided one
