I live in Shawnee, Kansas and I've had my 99 Jeep Cherokee for almost a year now although I haven't met many people who have jeeps. My best friend has one which she is getting rid of due to engine trouble and does not plan on getting another. I would love to know more people with jeeps and know more people who are good with working on them. I bought mine in what seemed a great condition unless about two months after had began to overheat. After spending $3000 and replacing my head, head gaskets, radiator and my thermostat twice it's still not perfect. It would be nice to meet more people as of just moving here two years ago!

 

Look online for a local jeep or off road clubs.

I don't really go offroading yet. I'm waiting until I get my lift put on and nicer tires and also when I have money laid aside for when and if something goes wrong.

 

It doesn't matter if you off-road or not. I thought you were looking for fellow Jeep owners in your area?

 

By the way, the Jeep in my avatar? Stock. Bone stock. You don't need big tires and lift to have an adventure.

 

I live in Lee's Summit which isn't too far from you. I have a few buddies with jeeps and we ride a few trails and are always up to working on jeeps

 

Awesome! I've only be out once which was in my friends jeep and we were supposed to get together with her trail crew but they all kind of fell apart so I've never really had the chance to really go out and have fun!

 

Mine is also stock besides some engine work!
