so how many free parts, accessories, scrap, ect have gone into your build?

Lucked out yet again and got a free 8.8 from a friend at work today on top of everything else I've gotten so far on it.

so far:

extra set of wheels
tow hooks
KC Daylighters x2
rear bumper (minus $20 for the weld in receiver)
steel for my front bumper and tire carrier
all my oil
all my ATF
all my coolant
seat covers
windshield wipers

 

bilstein 5125's for the rear
parts mike stainless brake lines all around
almost got a free winch the other day too. but it got swooped before I could pick it up

 

Guess I need some different friends.

 

Working at a dealership doesn't hurt. I never have to pay for fluids and we get to keep anything we take off of a trade in. Other than lift, bumpers, ect they want everything we put on our lot stock so we're constantly getting seat covers, lights, ect.

 

I wish I could get some free stuff lol

 

What kinds of friends and resources do you have? My only free stuff so far is some recovery chain that was holding up a tree lol. I need your connections!

 

Smittybilt xrc 8 winch. Tie rod after I bent mine in half. That's bout it.

 

The only free stuff i have gotten for my jeep is gas, from my friends.

I've done all my own labor to it, so that saves alot of $$$
