Was it any deeper toward the middle? I still enjoy hitting that sort of thing anytime I'm out on a trail, wife doesn't as she's the one who does the hookup if we get stuck

It was bout 2 feet deep in the middle. I went through it once with ease but on the way back my axle rested on dry ground as my tires spun. thinking of what I should do now to prevent this.
