Ok here is a link to it. http://dayton.craigslist.org/cto/1654822255.html

I am considering buying this for a trail rig or just a mud buggy. Just be able to take it out and not care if it gets beat up. As for the one i drive now i cant do that cuz it is my dd and i have to be careful on what i do with it. So what do you guys think? Would consider getting it? And you think its worth $300? Then just do a small lift wheels and tires. Whats some input?

Worth the money? Sure. I'd run a check of the VIN # to make it's not stolen so that you didn't get stuck. JMO

With out a title Its not really worth it unless you can run the vin and file for a lost title and then get one. But Whatever you do make sure you get a bill of sale for you.

That thing ain't worth a dime over 3 bills w/o a title. Also like stated above, you must have a signed bill of sale. Gotta be carefull, specially dealing with things like this over craigslist. Why does it need 3 wheels and tires? Where the other ones stolen?

Maybe $300 if no title and you can file for a lost title. With title maybe $500

that thing is in pretty rough shape for 500 bucks. it would have to be running and driving with a title IMO for that much.

Yea im not a big fan of no title. With how it looks it could be stolen. lol. But i have no idea of why it doesnt have a title or why it needs 3 wheels. I guess the 3 wheels must have busted while the guy was trying to steal it. I dont know its got me. The guy hasnt called me back yet or emailed me back. But i know i wouldnt mind getting it if its a good deal and not stolen. And i would get a bill of sale and try to get a title. But I just thought i would see what you guys thought about it.

i think the last registered owner is the only one that can get a new title.
at least here in ontario that's the only way.
unless the original owner is deceased, then a signed affidavit from the next of kin is the only way.

Well if you can get ahold of him just ask if he is the reg owner. Like caged said you might have to go through all that to get a title. Is it worth it? to me no but it may be to you. I understand wanting to get a trail rig that you can beat on but something will always be out there.

nope I think it is too much

no title and not drivable at all

I picked mine for 300 and it ran fine just a bunch of minor cosmetic damage, just lowball the guy offer just above what he would get for scrapping it, its likely thats the only other people who are looking at it

dude... look at my jeep in my profile album, I got it for $240. That thing looks f'ed and I see rust on the door. Mines pretty clean 0 rust, runs and drives good, new water pump and thermostat, decent tires only thing not working when I got it is blinkers and that was the ground, oh and a heater switch.

Mine did not have a title either but the guy had the original bill of sale to him then made me one and I had no problem getting the title, here getting a lost title is the same price as a title transfer.

If only that jeep has the title, I think this is worth buying...
Just a few upgrades and this will look good as your trail rig...

meh, do you know how many miles are on it? I still see rust, and its not drivable, dont think its worth more than $150, but maybe prices are diff in diff areas, but Ive seen plenty of people on this forum get good deals for 2-300 on decent driving cherokees.
