I just had my flowmaster 10 series muffler put on today and wanted to let you all know how it sounds if your looking to change your muffler. So the muffler really sounds amazing a nice clean throaty sound=] I drove around a bit to see what its like at different speeds and stuff and its actually pretty quite down the highway at a steady speed but when you hit the throttle it really opens up and sounds good. Have to say it really sound the best from a dead stop or a slow roll and just punch it Its not annoyingly loud in the cab, but much louder than most other muffler's wich is what i wanted So all in all if your looking for a louder muffler that produces a nice clean sound that you can HEAR than i would definatly recommend this one. When i get around to it i'll see if i can upload a video of it so you can experiance yourself, but as i noticed videos dont do justice compared to the real thing but give's you a good idea

Thats what I run and I love mine. It gets a little louder after all the crap on the inside burns off.

Do you have stock manifold and stock cat? I want a series 10, but was also considering series 40. I basically want something that is throaty and loud, but not annoying loud, Thank you

I wouldn't suggest talking about cats on here they do not like that. And with your Jeep looking like a 97+ I wouldn't suggest that anyway unless you like your Jeep running way to lean. Your down stream 02 will say your motor is to rich when its not you just don't have a cat. So your computer will change your fuel to air mix and run you way to lean causing a big loss of power. I guess if you don't like power this mod just might be what you need.

you can get around that, there are cat delete kits out there or if you are an experienced mechanic you already know how to do this. Also if you want a real loud and good sound just keep the cat and straight pipe it the rest of the way.
