Ok so to highjack my thread back lol i used the same seat reinforcment, just cut a new peice of metal, it was ok to re use



Just need to seam seal it and order a carpet, i took the headliner out too going to do that too while everything is apart

I called a jeep company everyone has prob herd of but they said they are going to consider to start making the reinenforcment for the xj, they just started for the tj,

looks good, pan looks better than mine. be sure to seal from underneath to keep splashing water out..
yeah sorry we took your thread but it gave you time to get it done!!
how do you do a loose headliner. mine sags a little.

Lol no problem! I ordered my pan off line, did you make yours Nu? My headliner was sagging so im going to order new fabric and redo it, some great vids on you tube for a diy, i will def hit every place with some seam sealer, and then undercoat, thank you guys for all of your inputs!

Almost fully back together!! Working on headliner now.<br/>Over Cut the carpet in two spots, nothing too crazy just going to glue extra cut peice under exposed area, i am happy with going with stock interiors.com POR-15 is your freind too! If you want more pics i can post, zj seats are great too, they where eletric so right now they do not recline, I Am going to see if i can use the old xj seat parts, just want to get the headliner done at this time.<br/><br/>

nice job. be sure to hose water test it . you can see what i found and im not sure its done yet. didnt want to run water when its freezing. im not doing trim final till i know im dry.
