RC Shackle relocation kit, and 1.5in shackle for lots of swing

With out the aal it sits about 3-3.5in with my same setup
im running close to that setup and have tons of droop also!

Tell me how to do it. I wanna get droopy with it.
Before you start you must first disassemble your leaf pack and inspect leaves for any wear. Importantly if you have a worn main leaf then go to a pick and pull and grab a good set of main leaves. take your old ones(or new ones if the old are good shape) and cut the eyes off them and install under your mains and reassemble. Then purchase 1.5in lift shackles, and also purchase a shackle relocation kit from HD enginering or Rough country. Assemble with a 35-45 angle with static load. Enjoy having one of the few Xj's with actually flex that no kit on the market offers.

BTW Its less wear on you spring pack this way. Inverting the packs over compressing shortens life heavily.

When it comes to flex some uptravel is nice but droop is the name of the game. Keeping all 4 wheels on the ground and the truck closer to level.

Yes, bumpstop enough so the springs will not invert

My front is nicely bumpstopped, But with my rear setup has had a issue with inverting. I have my stock bottom leaf(tow/overload leaf) flipped over so during uptravel by the time the pack flatten out fully, it is stopped by the overload. So in my case no bump stop needed. But in most cases I would recommend testing flex making sure leaves dont invert, if the start to invert then buy/make bumpstops.

How much lift does that add up to in the back? I'm debating on either going this route or new leaf packs with the relocation boxes for 3"

id say it all depends on how saggy you stock leaf's are i got around 4.5" with the boxes and shackels and beefed up springs im clearing 31's with no problems, my jeep kinda looks funny cuz i have 3" in the front and 4.5 in the rear but it works for now
