They are decommissioned tanks waiting to be sent away. I believe they were used for recovery since they have a hidden winch in the front with a decent 1.5" cable. There is also a gigantic boom that flips over to the front. I snuck away with a shackle about a foot in diameter and roughly 40lbs..

Lmao if I had a dollar every time I had to recover another vehicle.. well I'd have lots of dollars. I'm afraid the ol d30 would grenade if I even tried to budge those things.

And yeah they have some wicked tie downs.. guess they don't want those chunks of metal floppin around back there while they drive across the country
