Hey guys (and girls?)...so Ive never fabricated anything before--minus just fixing some welds on broken ****-- but I want to fab up my own bumper. I have limited welding experience so I'm trying to decide on a bumper that will be fairly simple to fab and weld, but will also be efficient and badass looking. Any outside opinions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

 

i'd start with AJs offroad mounts and work from there for the rear

 

Same here, I would get some mounts from AJs or Rusty's or ??? and use them as a base...

start looking at all the bumpers you can find and decide what style you want. pre-runner? winch mount? with/without brush guard? fitted to body? or ugly stick style?

 

search. its what i did. i also found one online i liked and copied it best i could for the front. the rear i just winged it really. if you take your front bumper off you will get a good idea of what your working with and see how simple it is.
