When looking at pics of some XJs I came across this one

Based off of the speaker on the XJ and the lightbar on the PI in the back, has got to be an old picture. Still cool none the less. Old K9 vehicles? I can't read the red letters on the back door.

I never quite understood the paint scheme. When I'm on I-10 going to Tally, I can see the beige sticking out of the trees. They should just go with all black.

 

According to a friend of mine who has FHP in their family, the SUV's are K9 and the paint scheme is a historical paint scheme from post WW2 and has nothing to do with camouflaging the vehicles.
