Default Feel small next to a lifted XJ?

Do any of you feel somehow inferior or less like a serious "Jeeper" when you are in your stock XJ and someone pulls up along side in a nice lifted beefy rig? You're thinking like, I know all about Jeeps but I'll look like a poser if I wave or something LOL.

Nope. I rocked a stock Xj for 3 years and shocked a few people when I put it through a trail where most have 33s. I was only on 30x9.50s. (Of course AWD and twin posi's help. Lol). Owning a Jeep isn't about who has the highest, most flexy lift or who has the more expensive rims n tires, Its about being able to build it how you see fit and enjoy the fun and freedom you get from it. That's why Jeep has been a bigger part of the Auto industry than most. There are soo many ways to customize them based on need and lifestyle.

Nah. I've taken a stock jeep places that lifted rigs with amateur drivers can't go. I don't worry about people's perception of me much.

Nope. Mine is stock (well, the tires are 30", on 16" Grand Cherokee wheels, but other than that, it's stock), and I actually prefer the way they look, stock. Again, as someone said, I've taken this thing where people with huge, lifted monstrosities can't go. I particularly like that the Cherokee is small-ish, in general; I can navigate the quad trails and so forth in the woods that most Wranglers are too high to handle.

Nope, doesn't bother me at all. I always end up next to these shiny clean lifted XJs, in my dirty, beat up, doorless, stock XJ, and I know I have more fun with mine, so that more than makes up for it being smaller to me.

Well, being used to my lifted XJ I think it actually looks normal sized (on 33s+3.5".) When I park next to a stock XJ to get a good perspective stock looks so small! Reminds me of when I first got my XJ all stock. I wave to all other Jeepers, stock or lifted.

^^x2 lifted feels normal when you have it. I think the Cherokees shoulda came factory with a little more lift than stock. But they are all very capable rigs, I rocked mine stock for 3 years!!

Boys, this isn't the high school gym locker room.

But yeah... Being lifted and "looking down" on the stockers is a little fun. It's kind of like pulling up next to a souped Honda civic while you're driving a Ferrari.

Hahaa ...... I too have been on 3-4 diamond trails in my xj when it was stock height . I've had 30-9.5s stuffed completely in the wheelwells . It's funny when guys in rigs with 37s and huge lifts stop and watch us traverse pretty technicle rocks .
