The XJ can be kinda broken and still work enough to get me back and forth to work until I get the time/money to fix it.
I love that I can actually do work on it and things turn out actually working properly. I have had VERY limited mechanical experience before the XJ. Might take me 4 times longer than it should but I manage to actually be able to fix the part or problem.
That it has done everything I ask of it and more.
It is a perfectly acceptable Daily driver, weekend warrior or trail rig bone stock and even better with a few mods.
There are almost infinite ways to make it stand out from others of its kind and it automatically stands out among other vehicles.
Light weight therefore easy to solo push if needed..... and yes, I have several occasions now.
oh and the simple fact that "It's a Jeep thing"

I like the part where I stomp on the stupid pedal, & my little I-6 pulls ten car lengths on the guy next to me. (At any speed)
I really should see what it does in the quarter.
