I'll be pulling my carpet in the next few weeks to Herculine it and then I will be pulling the padding off the carpet which keeps soaking up the water. Obviously the padding is what attempts to keep our loud XJ's floors quiet. I want to put down a sound barrier on the floor before I replace the carpets. I have found a product that I like, FatMat. My question is has anyone used this product and if you have, how do you like it? I'm not looking for a Cadillac quiet interior, just something to lessen road noises. Seems it also will not absorb water so hopefully I can carefully place the seams in places water will not pool. Thanks

I was just reading a build in here and the guy used it. He said he really liked it and got better speaker responsiveness too. I tried to find it but I went through a bunch of them and couldn't find it.
