I agree, I enjoyed the build on trucks, wish they would bring it back, they never showed us the results, after doing the intake swap and installing an header.

If you email spike, you should tell them that the 2 door xj they built on trucks, definitely needs forced induction as its next mod. As for the xtreme 4x4 xj, i wanna see it rockin dana 60's and 44" tires.

I wanted to see a TRUE budget build. Like instead of a bought lift, make a bastard pack for the rear and maybe buy the front coils. use JY parts for the steering components, craigslist some wheels, buy the cheapest tires. maybe them weld up a roof rack and bumper? I mean for real, for 6k i could make one BAD *** cherokee. or i could even BUY a badass cherokee for LESS than that.

Yeah Ian is a good guy. Got to meet him once and also the show is known for being Extreme 4x4 so I kinda saw those last minute changes coming. But as for Ian, if you send him a letter stating what we'd like to see done, im pretty sure he might consider it.Originally Posted by xj_maniac_newb

yeah I'm sure they'd do it. Bet the reason behind the new parts is the advertising as well. can't blame them for that. I was just kinda dissappointed they spent so much on it.Originally Posted by Outlaw Star

Yeah... when me and my dad were looking at it for the first time he said something along the lines of the color was the only bad thing about it. At the time I kind of agreed. I hated white and silver vehicles.Originally Posted by MUDRUNNER AZ

But the xj looks good in white. Its grown on me...
but I still think every other vehicle looks bad in white and especially silver.

That was a neat setup they had going. If I had an ARB rooftop tent, I'd build my own little camp trailer like it.Originally Posted by xjjeeper
