i don't know if any of you guys have read this article, about Fiat buying Chrysler Corporation. they said that the other cars have been holding a place in the CAR market that belongs to Jeep and fiat will make sure that Jeep gets it back. so, plan on seeing some little 4wd smartcars with a Jeep logo in the front. next they're gonna ask us to wear a scarf and use PRODUCT in our hair.
No no no.....Minivans are more functional....Power sliding doors with second row captains chairs....trust me I know....My wife has an Uplander. LOL

that actually looks cool and functional.
why don't they make an overkill cherokee? I mean it doesn't have to be fast or dangerous? everything on it is already great. just make factory options like recovery points, front mount winch, beefy axles, rack and pinion. it's not like an SS camaro is meant to go 160mph in the city, but at least it gives you an idea of what you'd wanna build. I don't think Chrysler appreciates the cherokee as much as they should.

Honestly, I wouldn't pay for one of those 2011 GCs, but I would put a lift on it if someone gave it to me. Would be like wheeling a Mercedes(and not a Unimog).

seriously dude, i like it. it wouldn't be my first choice, but i'd take it over an fj cruiser or an xterra. if it has solid front axles. it's a little too round but i guess that's to be expected of a 2011 vehicle. i'd probably offset the wheels a bit more and trim the fenders, set up some offroad fender flares. it looks like it would rub in ANY type of articulation.

Jeep will never die. The brand is too valuable unlike Hummer. Chrysler and Dodge may be another story.
Mark my words, the new Grand Cherokee will be a big seller with the new Pentastar six-cylinder and larger engines. It will take on other "mall crawlers" like the X5, Land Rover, and Mercedes, and it will win.
If you want to go offroad, keep your TJs and XJs.
