Engine Compatibility

Engine Compatibility
I'm new to CHEROKEEFORUM, so please bear with me.
My question is: I've seized the engine on my 2001 Cherokee Sport 4.0, I've found an engine on Island (St, Thomas, USVI) from a 2004 Wrangler. It's also a 4.0 but, that is all I know about this engine so far. Before I continue pursuing it, would this engine even be compatible???
Eagerly awaiting any responses...time is not on my side here.

Engine: 4.0
I know the TJ 4.0 has a different block and different and the motor mounts are in different places. Hopefully someone with more insight will you help you out. Good luck!
