Driver door wont open from inside

Sooo like it says..

I looked in the door and noticed the plastic piece is busted. How do i fix this!?

There's clips on the ends of the connecting (linkage) rods, for the handles. They become old and brittle. You can find the clips at a auto parts store. There are commonly used. then pull the door apart and throw the new ones one. While the door is apart, it is a good time to replace these crappy 5.25 speakers mounted in the door. That is what I did. If you haven't already, Here is a site with PDF format Mopar - Chrysler OEM parts catalogs for your year XJ. These are handy because they show exploded views of every thing. i just did this today, mine broke on the lock thou. Thankfully every time I go to the jy I grab little bits and what not.


found one of the plastic connectors at the bottom of the jy tool bag
