had my 3 in lift on for 4 years now and still don't have adj control arms. Once I go to 4.5 that will be the mod for me. Save your money on that and buy skids. You will need protection under neath. Rock rails. T-case skid.
for a 3in lift adj control arms are a waste of money.

I was talking from this post.
I can't speak from any kind of experience for 33in tires as my rigs had 30's and 31's on 3in of lift.

I can flex enough to unseat a coil. The arms aren't at a crazy angle, they aren't the best option, but they will be fine.

I just think at the point he is at with a 3in lift. Protection is the most important thing he can get. Steering skid, rockers, gas tank skid, t-case skid.
front and rear tow points.
Fire extinguisher with mount.
I am sure there is more cheap stuff.

Just fyi if you flex alot or go offroad you may still need to do something with the front brake lines.
I just unbolted the connection from the inner fender wall and let them droop. At full flex they were still tight with it mounted
