So after I got my rims put on yesterday, I was unhappy with the **** poor job of balancing that was done. I took it to a Tires Plus today(grrr, only place I could get it in) and told them I wanted all the weights on the back of the rim. I got a call a while later and they guy told me that in order to properly balance my tires because of the positive offset would be weights on both sides. They did confirm that the previous balance job was horse**** and that it would look nothing like that when they were done. Is this accurate information? I told them to balance it properly as that is more important than anything else. And I figure worst case I can always paint the weights by hand to make them less noticeable...

You can have them do sticky weights on the inside of the rim too. That is what they use on high end rims to balance them as well. That is your only other option.
