Wow. That I a shame. Everyone should know hot to drive a stick. I got to a prepy private school an I am thinly kid with a crappy jeep with a stick shift and when I tell them it's a stick they look at me like I am a rocket scientist.

You dont really need a clutch to drive a manual either. I had my slave go out a while back and have to drive 45 miles to school without a clutch. Just have to rev match each gear to upshift, I've never driven a semi but I'm sure its the same. To start off from stops I just put it in 1st and start the motor.

I've been fighting my gf to teach her to drive a manual. She's just stubborn and well a woman

Ya thats exactly what you do in a semi...going up in gears is easy...coming down is a bit more tricky.lol

Yeah I only rev match when I'm going fast and need to slow down quickly

I had to do that when my bike's clutch cable snapped... But a sequential box is easier to shift without a clutch. Never tried it with a car.
