Mines a 1998 no cruise. Driving long distance kills me never knew how important cruise control is.

i just installed cruise in my '99 auto and it worked. i installed another one in my '97 manual and nada... cross tested all of the parts and they all work. i doubt that my wiring has been tampered with...

My 1998 XJ limited has it, along with an ax15 manual transmission - it seems to work ok, but Ive only used it a couple of times.

Tural, I removed my CC cable and have thumb throttle attached in it's place. Let me know if you need any kind of parts.

I remember a person had a thread about this issue before ended up being a little bit of a pain to fix. I'm not to worried about it though not like I'm going to do a cross country road trip with my xj. Even if I did then would invest in some netter seats before fixing cruise control
