Ever since I bought mine, my 2011 Ford supercrew with the ecoboost ha been just sitting in the driveway. My xj is nowhere near as nice, or comfortable. There's just something I love about my xj. Anyone else stop driving something nice to cruise the xj?

Yeah but...............I didn't really have a choice. I held on to my old DD after I bought my XJ because it had a few issues to work out before I drove it very much. About a week after I started driving it full time, my old DD up and quit running (I consider myself lucky on that one and that I wasn't stranded with no vehicle at all). Now, it's been over a month and it's been too cold to try to mess with my old car to find out why it won't start.

The weather changing here has forced me to jump in the XJ again this year. But i put my car away early to take the XJ out. I like it, almost more than the Z. The XJ is just fun, and i dont have to wash and wax it, i can run through bushes, mud ect ect and just not care. I kinda miss my car now though

I've got a 2011 Jeep Compass that stays parked unless I'm going to town for groceries, etc. (85 miles one way) It get's driven at most twice a month but gas mileage is twice that of the XJ, otherwise I'm in the XJ all the time especially when the snow is flying around here.

Not entirely by choice. Co-signed a loan for my daughter in college who defaulted, so I took it and paid it off so I didn't take a credit hit. Tough love that hopefully teaches her a life lesson. It's not too bad, great on gas mileage, but about all it's good for is as a grocery getter. It's gonna get traded off this coming spring.

I do. I have a choice between this, a Toyota Tacoma, or a Saturn Vue. To be honest, I hate driving everything but the XJ. I'll use the non-XJs to save gas once in a while when I go on spending sprees because they're only 4 cylinders.
Obviously the pickup truck has its positives too. The Vue when I need a passenger car that's good on gas.

My wife's car gets 35mpg, is a lot quicker, and handles much better than my ZJ with a 4.slow that has 205k miles on it, but the ZJ is driven any time we go anyplace.

My XJ was supposed to be just the 3rd set of wheels to drive to the bus stop to catch the express bus a year and 20k miles ago : ) Who knew, the doggone thing has been pressed into trips all over. My other two cars are a Vibe and a Mazda 5. Maybe the new scooter will cut into the mileage a bit.
