Do Louisianians Not Sell XJs?
Ok, I've been looking for a new Cherokee for about 5 months now.
During those 5 months, I've seen MAYBE 3-4 XJs for sale... I live in south Louisiana and I see them on the roads all the time! I understand that they run forever but I find it extremely odd that no one is selling them.
I see other people on the forum all the time talking about how they have 3 or 4 to choose from at any one time and I'm lucky to find 1 to go look at.
So am I just not looking in the right spot (I've been looking on Craigslist, AutoTrader, etc.) or do people in Louisiana just not sell XJs?

mississippi isnt much better trust me. If you do find one its a complete pos or its 2wd. I just bought my current one 6 weeks ago and its the first 4x4 ive seen in wonderful shape in ALONG time. thats why its in my drive way now . I mean this thing is a close to flawless as you can get for being a 98 with only 112K miles. Cash for clunkers did a number down here plus the major hurricanes a few years ago wiped out alot of vehicles so maybe thats part of it who know.

I used to live in Slidell and I didn't see a lot of jeeps on the road at all. I think we had to drive to Covington to buy my wife's GC. I don't remember why we drove to Covington but I think it was because the Jeep Dealers down there are pretty small. Not like we have here in Tennessee. The dealers here are pretty big with lots to choose from.

Got lucky on mine
I ran into one that a person wanted to sell because they just didn't understand it. It really ran rough and wouldn't start sometimes etc.. one TPS and spark plugs later a great find 2500. w/ no dents new tires etc. She wanted a girly car.
