I'm really not liking my stock green on my jeep zj, thinking about painting it on a budget, not anything special probably just a solid color, could anyone show me some pictures some do it yourself paint jobs an maybe a description of what you did? Type of paint? layers? Etc? Thanks much appeteictaed!!
Is the paint in good condition? Spider cracks? Is it chipping off anywhere?
If it's fine, you can just dull the finish with scotch brite, tape everything you don't want painted and respray.
If you aren't very good at painting, it will look like poo though.

i watched hundreds on vids and decided to roll it on with a foam brush, i bought the paint from sherwin williams at like70 bucks for the gallon and make sure you thin it out enough when you paint it like this or else it will clump up into what looks like a rough bedliner sorta.....but way uglier.....but overal it comes out really nice....just got to wet sand it down after first coat and do a second one or how ever many you think it will take to plz you.......it was pretty easy and simple...

That awesome paint job you did on there I want to go something similar to that, is there a forum or video you mighta made on steps to get it there?? And so I know you said the rustolem gloss for rattle can but for that green jeep is that the one you said you use the roller for? And do you think having it been white beforehand kinda helped make the color after stand out a little better? Like you think I should "prime" it white first then the color?
