Ditch my power doors
I know, it probably sounds crazy to everyone else, but what would it take to convert my power doors to all manual? I got everything working but the locks don't actually unlock. Instead of buying new power parts I'm thinking of switching to standard doors. Is it straight forward? Or do I need a jeep genie?
FYI I'm about to rattle can my jeep flat black, so finish isn't a big deal.
Thanks!

I replaced my power everything 96 sport with a manual everything 95 sport and I'm so happy to get rid of those crappy power windows. The 96 was rusted out so I went south for a rust free XJ

I bought 4 manual doors from the junk yard then found out the driver side door wouldn't fit cause of a wreck the po was in. So I swapped th insides out. It's not hard just take your time and be careful cause the metal is dangerous

Thanks!.... One other thing. Is ther a difference in the actual windows? Mine are tinted and I was wondering if I could put them in with manual regulators.

now would you be able to use 96 under in 97 up parts bc werent the doors a little bigger in the 96 era and also you would need the interior door panels to swap out.
