besides one folds forward and the other doesnt

The metal pan under the seat foam was cracked when I bought the Jeep (previous owners were porkers)

I did a quick fix and put some steel angles in there and it was ok, but its uncomfortable for my wife (gonna be her primary vehicle soon)

So I wanted to swap out the seat pans and I am trying to figure out what will work and what will not

on the 91 the pan is: 3500 0762 2 PAD, Cushion
from my parts catalog

and the 4 door is: 3500 0762 2 PAD ASSEMBLY, Cushion

SO according to this they should be the same right?

I can just pop them out and use them?

I was wondering that myself actually. Same crack in the drivers side seat pan.

Though I was planning to hit a junkyard for the seat cushion I was wondering if one from a 4 door's bucket would fit in my 2 door while still being able to tilt the seat forward.

they only difference is the folding mechanism at the hinge. the base of the seats are the same.
