I did this instead. 2 birds, 1 stone. I like the look and the shade is nice. And then why stop there, so I made a roof basket cover. Still have to get another flag for the passenger side.

Cool idea for the window, I like it! Are you going to put a cover or something on top of the roof flag though? It's going to get ruined by rain and other elements.

Tint your windows yourself! I did, cost me about $35 to do all cargo windows and the back passenger windows.

I'd say put your state flag on the other side! Assuming your proud of the state you live in, like I am with Texas. I'm still trying to figure out a way to mount my Gadsden Flag on my antennae without it flying off in the wind...

Law states that the American Flag must not be flown in the rain and must be lit at night if it is to be flown at night. But I don't think anybody really cares about this sort of thing anymore.

As for the not caring about our flag I dont know if thats a good thing or bad. The only thing I have a problem with is people who put the American flag underneath other countries flags on their cars. Keep ours flying!!!!

Psycho, how'd you attach it up there? I'm gonna do the USA on the drivers side and FL flag on the passenger side. Also, what size flags?

Well, they're not suppose to. Therefore they don't ever fly in 65+mph winds just hanging outside.

I never thought that the way I flew my colors would upset you guys. Sorry (not changing it though) Law says alot of things but maybe it should require that everyone MUST have a flag in front of their house. What I am saying is that there are not enough people that fly the colors anymore and I may not be 100% by the book but that is never something I have claimed to be either. And by the way, I am proud of what the flag represent but flags in general are replacable....lives of our soldiers are not.

it is a 2'x3' (as you can see not all the stars and stripes are visable) I took off the trim around my window and tucked the edges in behind and then re-installed the trim. Pretty easy and seems to stay put really well. The flag on top is just bungied to the rack.
