Death Wobble Stories
Thought maybe someone had one or a few good death wobble stories. It's definitely scary the first time. I've never had it happen in the xj but a 1 ton Chevy dump truck with a Dana 60 under it. Yeah it caught me by surprise. Lets hear anything and everything. And even if and how you fixed it

Had my XJ do it at 70mph on the highway scared the **** outta me went from the center lane to the far right then to the far left and eventually onto the shoulder. Had it do it a few more times on the way how wasnt fun the first time sure as hell wasnt fun the other 10-15 times it happened. Ended up putting a new steering stabilizer on and tightening every front end bolt up. Now I run around with no swaybars and no issues .

Nice to know I'm not the only one. I was screamin the 1 ton dump full of stone doing About 50-55mph down the highway and my pup was sitting on the seat as well. Hit one of those sewer hole caps and it was over. She got the hippy hippy shakes and the tires were chirping. First intention was to slow down and the dog landed up on the dash when I hit the brakes. I'm sure I had rust flying everywhere because the truck was shaking something fierce. Turned out to be a tight axle shaft u joint and a leaky steering stabilizer
