My Fiance was driving my jeep to grad school yesterday since her car was in the shop. Rear ended by a commercial van and pushed into the car in front of her. Shes fine, just sore...jeep did its job.

In the last 2 months.
all fluids changed, transmission serviced.
full skid plate package from skid row
KC Slim lights mounted on the bumper
B&M transmission cooler and trans temp gauge
new font wheel bearings and ball joints
new heater core and ac condenser
under coated
new tires

Waiting to hear from the insurance co. but I already know it's totaled.

it looks like the damage is purely cosmetic from the pics. is your frame still straight? it looks like a solid weekend project but you could easily put that back on the road. go get new body panels from the junk yard

Looks like if you get new fenders, new grille, new bumper, and new back hatch from junk yards, that thing won't even look like it was hit.

bottom of the trunk floor is buckled and rear quarter is creased. from my understanding once the jeep is "totaled" by the insurance co. getting it registered on a salvage title is nearly impossible...

That is exactly what I would like to do though.

Not hard to get salvage title, in nc anyway. Bought my xj with a salvage title and got sandwiched like she did and was totaled again. Your resale vale will take a serious hit but you can get the unibody rails pulled out and some new body parts and call her good

Here in IN anything older than 07 (maybe it was 97, or 04 whatever) doesn't even need to have the title changed. Kinda BS if you ask me, but made it easy to keep my 91.

I'd definitely buy it back though.
