I am always at the local Junk Yards looking for parts and it hit me today! Since the Cherokee is not made anymore, how about a little tribute to the one's that have died and sacrificed parts to keep ours running! Post pics of any you have seen at the JY and mention year and notable options if they have any. I'll start off. A white 89 and a gray primered 91. Both rusted to hell, (Michigan here) but the gray one had a 3" lift and adjustable quick disconnects, and the white one had the cargo cover option!

my buddy rolled his a few weeks ago... possibly the cleanest 2001 xj in the country. only had 90k on it. at least she went out with mud on her

I have yet to see a dead cheokee.. Just ones that need a little rebuilding.. There's still potential there.

 

They do offer us parts to work with, but it is really sad to see them that way I would feel terrible if mine ended up like that.
