Default De-chroming my 89 xj

So I spent my last 2 days off sanding and rattle canning half the chrome on my jeep. Here's some pics, turned out pretty decent so far.

I masked them off real good like then sanded them down then used some bulldog clear coat and then sprayed them. Took less time and money.

I think if the chrome is factory it looks good. I like it on the older jeeps.

I'm doing the grey trim too when I get time, all the chrome had surface rust when I bought it so the handles only looked clean cause I sanded them down.

Looks better black, i'm not a big fan of chrome. Looks like you did a good job on the painting, too!

Looking sharp, although I would have opted for the chrome. Clean painting though, looks darn good for rattlecanning.

looks like it came out great man. Not a fan of the chrome and thankful mine is chromefree. Is that a different jeep in the sixth or seventh pic?
