I was thinking about making some control arms for my 99 XJ......... due to my wife crashed it so I was thinking about buyin some but I like to build $hit.. so I was thinking on tryin to either build my own custom adjustable control arms or long arms!!!!!!!! if anyone has built them before please give me pointers on how to and what I need............

I know your new on the site but you really should ready stickies before posting. And search first. DIY+control+arms+xj

 

Buy some dom.. either 1.75x.120 this could used for your arms, and for bushings. If it was me and I was building adjustable ones I would use 2x.25 with 1.25" hiems or johnny joints on one ends and bushing on axle end.


Use a hole saw to notch your tube for the bushing, and be sure to beel the tube on the bushing side as well as drill two holes in it for plug welds 180* out
