Very simular to AEV's design from years ago- they really never massed produced it because it was so complicated and became too expensive. Glad to see someone taking a more logical approach to building a rear tire carrier that doesn't block the tail lights.
How about we get a price for this?

The AEV design is more or less what I wanted for my arm and copied some elements from it. As far as the rear LED lights I was kind of split on them originally, because I didn't want something that was chrome on an all black bumper (weird asthetics, I know) but they've grown on me. They're also very functional as they "push" light straight back instead of simply flooding the area along with the LED's I put in the OEM housings (at least a lot better than the factory bulbs).
I'll send Rob at SBF a note, but I wouldn't expect anything much cheaper than ARB's TJ carrier or Warn's XJ carrier for that matter. If he gets the call to crank out 5 or 10, I'm sure it will be comparable. Also, I can personally attest that this thing is built tough. In addition to the tire on the carrier, I put all my own 300 lbs on the end of the arm at full extension and the bumper only flexes about 1/8 of an inch while the suspension flexes nearly two inches (stock springs while I'm waiting for parts to come in).

Hey guys, got a quick update:
Rob shot me an email back and does plan to manufacture more bumpers and sell them. He is asking $950, plus tax (I'll assume for WA residents), and shipping.
If you're interested, go to his website Stainless Brain Fabrication and contact him via the information there. He does spend a good deal of time in the shop so leave a message and he'll come right back to you after he finished welding/grinding his current project (can't hear the phone over such things).
