Cracking of black plastic in glovebox

Cracking of black plastic in glovebox

Just curious if anyone else has experienced major cracking of the black plastic in their glovebox, particularly on the top, and plastic under the defrost vent.

and if so does anyone know the cause if this?

Because it is a cheap piece of 20 year old plastic.

Well sure that is reasonable. But there is a half inch gap where the crack is, like it is being pressured or stressed and parting up on one side: ________---- its splitting like that, if that makes sense. lol.
