2000 GC Laredo: New to me. Been scoaping out the engine compartment and I noticed that there were two fans. One works off the water pump and is a typical clutch fan type. I also noticed a second fan? The second fan is in front of the first one, right up against the radiator. First question: I presume it is stock? If it is. Does it work off of electricity? Is it free spinning operated by wind current/draw through the fan? Or is it thermal operated going on only if the engine temp exceeds a specific temp? Or does it work all the time?
I am in Hawaii. The Jeep is in California so I can't check this stuff out till I get back in a few months.
