Hat is the best and easiest way to drain coolant

On my aftermarket rad there is a drain plug. I know the manual says to drain it using the drank bolt on the block. but chances are no one ever took it out and if you mess that up, you have a whole new job now. Good luck!

Pull the lower rad hose.

Will that get all of it? I'm going to have to drain mine when I fit a new heater control valve because it's 100% water at the moment from the temp fix.

ive had to drain mine 3 times in the past month, just unscrew the resivoir pull it out and dump and put it back in
