How isn't it fitting? They should just set in and use your middle seat belt to secure in.

X2 I use to mount mine in the middle of the back seat. There should be a slot in the baby seat to pull the belt through for forward and backward position.

The bigger convertible car seats won't fit next to each other so it won't fit in the middle at a. So when its rear facing the front seat has to be all the way foreward and the back of the seat pushed all the way up or the safety thing on the car seat won't match up and it says it has to before using.. But I can't drive with the seat up all the way lol.. Ugh..

Yes. My youngest daughter still needs to face the back. But her new seat just won't fit. My oldest daughter is old enough to face the front and her seat won't fit the other way either

I had a graco or something like that and it fit in the back seat of my 2 door just fine, but I didn't buy a huge one.

Lol.
That's kind of what I was thinking. It'll also allow easy access to the little one from your front seat and you can still keep an eye on your bigger one in the mirror.

I actually fit 3 in my jeep! Thought I was going to have to buy a minivan. Ugh. Forward facing behind passenger and driver, rear facing in the middle. It's tight but it works.

I just bought got my 99 xj and did not keep that in mind when I was looking. So I moved my son up to the next booster style kind 5lbs early he loves it and so does my wife no more smashing knees against my dash.
