Im lifting my Cherokee 3.5 inches and am going to need new control arms, whats the cheapest route I can go to get control arms, like making my own or getting some off a different car at the junkyard.

Correction; you want new control arms, you don't necessarily need them. I ran 4" with stock arms, didn't have any problems.

Binding at the front mount points of the stock arms limits down travel of the suspension. For street and moderate wheelin the stock arms are still serviceable. For more serious off road, an doglegged and extended arm or adjustable will help give you access to all your available travel. A long arm application is a good investment if you seriously intend to go beyond 3.5 in the future.
