My insurance is 44 dollars a month, but that's for liability, collision and comprehensive.
They said modifications do not affect whether they will insure it or not but they will not reimburse me for the modifications, just the cost of the actual vehicle.
And im 19 years old too so its a decent deal.

Bingo. I've also got a clean driving record... er... on cars at least.
Oh, and my insurance dropped from like $40 a month when I bought a house. Apparently people who buy houses are less likely to wreck their car.
We won't discuss what they quoted me for my GSXR. It was something like twice the monthly loan payment. You have one accident and total a bike and all of a sudden your a liability.

i have liberty mutual i pay $100/month for liability and i just got a quote of $60 more for full they dont know it is lifted though i dont know if it would make a difference or not so why tell them
I have a little bit more than full coverage. I pay $499 every 6 months. I'm a 21 year old male.
This is my coverage:
-BODILY INJURY LIABILTY: $100,000 EACH PERSON / $300,000 EACH ACCIDENT
-PROPERTY DAMAGE LIABILITY: $100,000 EACH ACCIDENT
-UNINSURED MOTORISTS BODILY INJURY LIABILITY: $100,000 EACH PERSON / $300,000 EACH ACCIDENT
-UNINSURED MOTORISTS PROPERTY DAMAGE LIABILITY: $MAXIMUM
-COMPREHENSIVE DEDUCTIBLE: $500
-COLLISION DEDUCTIBLE: $500
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I used to have this coverage, this is considered full-coverage:
-BODILY INJURY LIABILITY: $50,000 EACH PERSON / $100,000 EACH ACCIDENT
-PROPERTY DAMAGE LIABILITY: $50,000 EACH ACCIDENT
-UNINSURED MOTORISTS BODILY INJURY LIABILITY: $25,000 EACH PERSON / $50,000 EACH ACCIDENT
-UNINSURED MOTORISTS PROPERTY DAMAGE LIABILITY: $MAXIMUM
-COMPREHENSIVE DEDUCTIBLE: $500
-COLLISION DEDUCTIBLE: $500
This cost me $445 every 6 months. But I decided to get more coverage, it's only a $54 difference every 6 months and I get extra peace of mind.

I think we're all interested in knowing which company insures your Jeep.
Don't keep it a secret now ...
When I was insured with NJ Manufacturers they had pictures taken of my vehicle prior to insuring it. It was already lifted (but lower) and they had no issues. It was also my DD so I had full coverage.

I am an agent here in Tennessee and I can tell you that your insurance will only cover stock parts unless you endorse the modified parts. If you want the lift, winch, push bar, etc covered you have to have it endorsed on your policy. At least this is the case for Tennessee and every state is different. Insurance rules and laws vary from state to state. Now there might be some carriers who will decline the vehicle if it is modified but I do not know of any off the top of my head. It is not very often that someone comes in and tells me they have a 4 inch lift with a ton of accessories. As far as rates go there are a lot of reasons that people have different rates and credit along with age and driving history are the main ingredients to a rate. The AllStates, State Farms, Farmers, etc can be more expensive rates. If you want the best rates without cutting coverage you need to visit a broker. Thats what I do and we are able to shop rates.

Ran into this problem when I used to have a 83 AMC Eagle running on 31" tires. When I switched over insurance companies here in Canada after a 4" lift, my insurance went from $1100 to $6400 a year! Needless to say, I got rid of the Eagle and bought my old CJ. They're all in it just for the money!
