any ham radio operators around kc5wqy here, im curious where people are mounting their ham or cb rigs in their cherokees

 

I'm a ham and run CB as well. All my ham stuff is hand held, so other than a magnetic mount antenna, there was no need to mount anything. For my CB, I just got a small one, and instead of "mounting" it, I tuck it in between the passenger seat and center console. It stays put, and is right by my right hand.

 

Overhead between the visors. I can easily hook up my handmic CB unit to the existing wiring and swap on my NMO CB antenna in a few minutes.
